Yoga-integrated therapy is available in-person in St. Louis, Missouri.

Yoga-Integrated Therapy

Together, we work to notice what's happening in your body in real time, without rushing --  exploring how thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations are connected.

We may use breath and movement to support regulation and awareness, to build skills for responding rather than reacting, and to work toward a more easeful relationship with yourself and your body.

MY APPROACH

A mind-body practice

This work is rooted in both psychotherapy and yoga as a mind-body practice.

Together, we work to notice what's happening in your body in real time, without rushing — exploring how thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations are connected.

We may use breath and movement to support regulation and awareness, to build skills for responding rather than reacting, and to work toward a more easeful relationship with yourself and your body.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is not a yoga class.

It's therapy that draws on yoga-based tools when they're useful.

A session may include traditional talk therapy alongside accessible practices — breathwork, guided awareness, gentle movement, or self-massage — used intentionally to support your goals, not physical performance or achievement. At times, this might mean moving onto a mat or the floor to more fully experience a practice. Always at your pace, and always with your consent.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Yoga-integrated therapy may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel disconnected from your body or emotions

  • Struggle with anxiety, stress, or chronic overwhelm

  • Get caught in your thoughts and to feel more grounded

  • Are moving through grief, repetitive emotional patterns, or a life transition

  • Want tools for self-regulation that go beyond talking

  • Have experienced trauma that has affected your relationship with your body

ABOUT THIS APPROACH

A different type of therapy

Practices like breathwork and mindful movement can help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and increase awareness of internal states. For many people — especially those navigating anxiety or chronic stress — working with the body can make therapy feel more accessible and more effective. It creates space not just to talk about your experience, but to notice how it lives in you, which can deepen insight and support more lasting change.
