INSIGHT ORIENTED, BODY-AWARE THERAPY | ST. LOUIS & ONLINE

Therapy for thoughtful adults stuck in repeating patterns.

Supporting grief, identity, & relationships through how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others.

Hi, I'm Jason

I'm a therapist and yoga teacher in St. Louis. My interest in people, their relationships and how they understand and live as themselves was developed in my previous career as a teacher and school leader.

My work as a therapist combines talk therapy, cognitive science, and the wisdom contained in the yoga tradition. I work in a way that builds insight, relationships, and honors your experience. This is why I started Jason Heisserer Therapy.

I'll meet you where you are and stay with you in what's difficult as we work toward deeper understanding or change.

THERAPY

01

Identity-focused therapy

For questions of who you are, what you want, or how you want to live. Around gender, sexuality, career, spirituality, or a broader sense of direction.

02

Grief counseling & loss therapy

Grief is often treated like something to move past or resolve. Here, we take a different approach.

03

Therapy for men & men's issues

Many men have learned to push through, stay busy, or keep difficult things to themselves. That can work, but often comes at a cost.

04

Couples Counseling

Therapy can offer a space to understand what’s happening with you and what's happening between you.

Yoga-Integrated Therapy

Yoga-integrated therapy weaves together traditional talk therapy with practices like movement, breathwork, and mindfulness. This mind-body approach supports both mental and physical awareness — helping you better understand your inner experience and respond to it with more intention.
